Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Last updated: 29 July 2026
This page is where you tell us not to sell or share your personal information, and where you turn off tailored advertising in our games. It is the opt-out page referred to in our Privacy Policy and in our app-store listings.
Why this page exists
Some of our games may show advertising — in formats such as banner, interstitial, native or optional rewarded video adverts — and our games generally use analytics tools that help us understand how they are played and find crashes. To make that work, information from your device such as your advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, GAID on Android), your IP address, coarse location and in-game events may be made available to our advertising and analytics partners.
We do not receive money for your personal information. But under the California Consumer Privacy Act and comparable privacy laws in other United States states, making an advertising identifier available to an advertising partner so that it can select adverts for you may count as a “sale” of personal information, or as “sharing” for cross-context behavioural advertising. We treat it as such, and you have the right to opt out of it at any time.
Opting out is free, and we will not treat you differently for doing it.
The fastest way: turn it off on your device
Device-level controls are the most effective option, because they apply to every app on the device — ours and everyone else’s — and take effect immediately.
On iOS and iPadOS
- Open Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Turn off Allow Apps to Request to Track, or turn off the switch for the individual app.
- Then open Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising and turn off Personalised Ads.
On Android
- Open Settings → Google → Ads. On some devices this is under Settings → Privacy → Ads.
- Choose Delete advertising ID, or turn on Opt out of Ads Personalisation.
- You can also choose Reset advertising ID on the same screen to start with a fresh identifier.
Opt-outs are specific to each device and each browser, so you need to repeat this on every device you play on. It can take a little time before an opt-out takes effect across all of our partners.
Send us a Do Not Sell or Share request
To have us record an opt-out against the information we hold, and to pass it to our partners, email us:
Send a Do Not Sell or Share request — this opens a new message to support@deepmist.com with the subject line already filled in.
If the link does not work on your device, write to support@deepmist.com with the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information”.
Please tell us in the message:
- which of our games you play;
- the state or country you live in; and
- your advertising identifier, if you can find it — device-level identifiers are usually the only reliable way for us to locate the records that relate to you. Where a game offers an account and you have one, tell us the email address or sign-in you use for it instead, or as well.
You can find your advertising identifier on iOS in some privacy utilities, or on Android under Settings → Google → Ads before you delete it. If you would rather not give it to us, say so — we will still record your request and act on it as far as we are able.
Authorised agents
You may ask someone else to make a request for you. If an authorised agent contacts us on your behalf, we will ask them for written proof that you gave them permission, and we may also ask you to confirm directly with us that you did. Where the law allows, we may deny a request from an agent who does not provide that proof.
Verifying your identity
Before we act on a request, we may need to take reasonable steps to check that the request really comes from you or from someone entitled to make it. Where a game offers an account and you have one, we may be able to verify you through it. Otherwise we usually hold no email address or other information that identifies you as a person — only device-level identifiers. That means:
- we may ask you for the advertising identifier or other information that lets us match your request to records we hold;
- we will only use anything you send us for the purpose of handling the request, and we will delete it afterwards; and
- if we genuinely cannot verify a request to the standard the law requires, we will tell you so and explain why.
What happens next
We process requests in accordance with applicable law, and within the time limits it sets — under the California Consumer Privacy Act, within 15 business days for an opt-out of sale or sharing, and within 45 days for other requests, which may be extended where the law permits. We will confirm by email once your request has been completed.
Industry opt-out tools
These are run by advertising industry bodies, not by us. They cover many advertising companies at once, including some of ours. They are independently operated, and we do not control them.
- Digital Advertising Alliance (United States) — aboutads.info/choices
- European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance — youronlinechoices.eu
- DAA AppChoices (mobile apps) — the AppChoices app lets you opt out of participating companies inside mobile apps. It is available from the App Store and Google Play.
Browser-based opt-outs are stored in a cookie, so clearing your cookies or changing browser will undo them.
Our partners
These are the partners Deepmist Studios works with. Not every partner is used in every game, and which of them a particular game uses may change over time. Some may claim controller rights over the information they collect, and each operates under its own privacy policy. We encourage you to read them, and to use the opt-out mechanisms they provide.

- Unity — unity3d.com/legal/privacy-policy
- Amplitude — amplitude.com/privacy

- Amazon Web Services — aws.amazon.com/privacy
If this list changes, we will update this page.
One thing worth knowing
Opting out does not remove adverts — it makes them less relevant. You will still see adverts where a game shows them; they simply will not be selected on the basis of your advertising identifier.
If you would prefer no adverts at all, some of our games may offer a purchase that removes them from the game permanently.
